General Installation Information (see instruction sheet)

Drip Pan

  1. Place drip pan (see sizing chart) under the water heater before installing a WAGS valve.
  2. Connect cold water supply line to "IN" port of the WAGS valve.
  3. Connect "out" port of WAGS valve to the "COLD IN" of the water heater.
  4. If water heater is gas fired attach included wiring harness between WAGS valve and gas valve.
Additional Materials Needed for Installation:

Water Heater

  • Water heater drip pan or other suitable device that will allow the water to rise to a level of 3/4".
  • Two 3/4" male sweat x thread adapters.
  • Two lengths of copper (or other approved) tubing. Length will vary by installation – see step 9 on instruction sheet.
  • Two to four (depending on the installation) 90° copper (or other approved) elbows.
